Concerts on the Dock

Lowe Mill Galleries, 2211 Seminole Drive, Huntsville, AL

This year marks the 11th annual Concerts on the Dock and it is sure to live up to it’s longevity! As per every proceeding year we will continue to strive to bring our music loving community the freshest sounds available without sacrificing quality for quantity. Our mission is to bring all who attend the best in local, regional and national acts they simply would not see anywhere else in town and provide those acts with a gracious built in audience hungry for the next big thing.

We can’t make this happen without YOU so bring friends, picnics and pets on a leash to Huntsville’s most accessible concert series and join us under the water tower for 8 weeks in the Spring and 8 weeks in the Fall.

Concerts on the Dock are always free to attend though we do charge $5 for parking on property.

Please Carpool!

The Sweet Teeth began as Russell Cook and Scotty Knight getting together to play some songs on a Wednesday, and then the next Wednesday, and then every Wednesday.  When a neighbor suggested inviting his friend Jeremy Clark to sit in on drums, it quickly became something very different than two guys with guitars.  Performing new songs not yet recorded, and drawing from the extensive catalog of songs written over the course of six albums for the Little Country Giants, Russell Cook & the Sweet Teeth explore the electric side of traditional music, folk and blues, jazz and honkytonk, rock and roll and old time. The Sweet Teeth try to push it to see where it’ll go, using songs as the structure, but staying open to improvisation and playing in the moment.
